Although primarily supported by membership dues, the WETC also receives
major financial support from the
Federated Mutual Insurance Company through
their sharing program which returns dollars to organizations of which
their policy holders are members. Federated Insurance is a provider of
insurance coverage for, among other trades, electrical contractors. A
small portion of the premium dollars paid by members of the WETC who
have coverage through Federated Insurance are returned to our
organization as a member benefit. This money is used, in part, to help
defray the costs of our conference and provide for many of the benefits
provided to our members. In addition, we are supported by local electrical suppliers through many volunteer hours and input at our board meetings and at the conference. . DS Electric, JH Larson Co., Viking Electric Supply, W.A. Roosevelt Co., Werner Electric Supply and The Midwest Rural Energy Council (MREC) all contribute many hours and support.
